Drinking heavily will not help and could lead to further depression. As will any form of drugs. You can ruin any chance you may have with stupid tactics like the above. At worst they could get you into trouble with the law.
You need to make sure you don’t wreck what chances you do have. It’s pointless making plans to get your wife back if you are going to blow it. One false move and BAM! Say goodbye forever.
